Through my work with the Women of Windsor, I hope to inspire more women to become a part of this organization that does a great job of uplifting women all around. It is important, especially in these times, to support each other when we can encourage one another to take on leadership roles in the community. Women of Windsor allows for women in great places to become a mentor to those who may one day wish to be in the same position. I would have personally loved to have someone who guides me along the way through my academic and professional career and still hope to make such a connection one day moving forward. Through my work with this project, I also hope we can overcome obstacles in the way due to the global pandemic that no one person or organization could have prepared for. For example, we have planned to have a focused seminar involving inspiring women leaders coming together to share their experiences and wisdom through a virtual platform.
