Metis Family Services

Metis Family Services (MFS) operates as a vital not-for-profit organization under the CFCSA, dedicated to ensuring child safety and providing essential family support services across Surrey, Delta, White Rock, and Ladner. With a mandate that includes guardianship, adoption, and resource services for Metis children in foster care throughout Greater Vancouver, MFS plays a crucial role in the community. MFS faces the pressing challenge of enhancing their educational and digital outreach capabilities to better serve Metis families and children. Additionally, there is a strong desire to revamp their current website to improve usability, content management, and engagement with the community. The development of comprehensive e-learning modules aimed at providing essential leadership training and culturally sensitive education. These courses will not only enhance the professional skills of our staff but also empower foster families and community members with knowledge and resources that align with Metis traditions and values. A redesign of our website to create a more user-friendly experience and improve accessibility to resources. This includes implementing modern web design principles, enhancing content organization, and integrating features that foster community engagement and interaction.
