New ERP: upgrading current practices to match the new business system

Natik just recently moved to a new ERP System to keep up with the demands of Natik’s growth. Some practices we follow may not be applicable or efficient with the new system. The Project Management module is in the new ERP system thus Purchase Order system is online which we expect could help us keep up with our purchase commitments and cash flow management. In the past, we track POs manually, and being a construction company means a lot of items to keep track of. This will speed up the 2-way matching of PO and invoice using the ERP, resulting in timely reporting for the management. Some challenges are navigating the new ERP system and the operations and accounting teams having to be more involved with each other to process data, thus requiring the best effective and efficient approach for both departments. The new ERP system should result in a positive impact on the departments involved.
