The purpose of this study is to identify sources, locations, and quantities of unutilized marine biomass materials that are available within the province, and to identify opportunities for improving the industry’s utilization of these materials. The inventory assessment will focus on unutilized marine biomass materials generated by the seafood processing sector from landings of commercially valuable crustaceans, groundfish, and pelagics.
