This project will examine current programming across multiple sites at the Boys and Girls Club of Ottawa (BGCO) with the purpose of enhancing program quality and optimizing program operations. The project will also seek to identify current gaps in programming and the factors that lead female youth over the age of 12 to drop-out of programming. The results from this project will help provide the program committee at the BGCO with a comprehensive analysis of current and potential future programming to assist in decisions ensuring that the programs offered to the youth members are consistent with its mission to provide a safe, supportive place where children and youth can experience new opportunities, overcome barriers, build positive relationships and develop confidence and skills for life.
