The “Partnerships Empowering Canadian Innovation” project, conducted under the Mitacs Business Strategy Internship program in collaboration with The Cansbridge Fellowship, aims to equip interns with the mindset and skillset necessary for success in the innovation economy. The project enables interns to identify strategic partnership opportunities with innovation organizations through industry-specific research, networking, and outreach. Throughout the program, interns will evaluate a range of promising opportunities, and share them with both the Cansbridge Fellowship and their academic institution. The academic supervisor will offer invaluable insights into strategy and strategic partnerships, while the Cansbridge Fellowship, as a partner organization, will provide mentorship and access to a professional network. The program will not only empower interns with a wealth of knowledge but also contribute to Cansbridge’s mission of promoting collaboration in the innovation economy and unlocking leadership potential within Canada’s youth.
