This project will support enhancements to and documentation of Walk with Me, a Community Based Research Initiative that brings attention to the toxic drug poisoning crisis through an arts framework. Both interns will build upon the project findings in phase I, to model new human centred modes of community collaboration, reduce harm and stigma caused by the toxic drug crisis, and give voice to those with lived and living experience. Further benefiting the Comox Valley Art Gallery by advancing it’s role in addressing local social justice issues within a small town/city.
