A key player and catalyzing force in Canada’s innovation ecosystem, we work with nearly 200 post-secondary institutions across the country and tens of thousands of partners nationally and globally.

From humble beginnings in British Columbia as a mathematics research network, Mitacs has evolved into a national player — supported by the Government of Canada, all provinces, and the Yukon Territory. Now, amid rapid technological and geopolitical change, we’re helping build a resilient Canadian economy powered by ideas, talent, and innovation.

Our team of 80 Mitacs advisors is ready to help you turn your innovative idea into a market-ready solution. We have offices in more than 25 cities across Canada, including major regional centres in Vancouver, Montréal, and Toronto.

What We Do

Our talent-first approach helps organizations drive innovation with access to highly skilled professionals from post-secondary institutions across Canada. At the same time, our model fosters the workforce of tomorrow by creating hands-on learning opportunities for students and postdoctoral fellows.
