An End User-Centric Study of Autonomous Technology Adoption in Controlled Environments

The main objective of the project is to explore the technological trends and automation in Courier, Express and Parcel (CEP) industry with key focus on autonomous technologies that can leverage CEP operations. Then the technology readiness as well as the user readiness for autonomous technologies will be investigated followed by an evaluation of the community impact of such innovation. Autonomous technologies (i.e driverless intelligent transformation, vehicular communications, drone deliveries, crowdsourced deliveries, mobile crowdsensing, machine learning) can be introduced in several operational processes like packaging, tracking, warehousing, delivery, or sales.
