Business Analyst Intern – RMA

Currently the RMA/Canoe uses spreadsheets and paper copies of receipts to submit expense claims and for company credit card tracking. Manually entering this information into a spreadsheet and managing the multiple paper copies of the receipts has become cumbersome for our employees’ submitting expenses, as well as for our payroll and accounting team. We are looking for a solution to automate the expense and credit card tracking and submission process. We are looking for a mobile application where the employee will be able to take a photo of the receipt from a mobile device and create the expense and/or credit card submission through the app. Ideally this application will have OCR capabilities to capture the data on the receipt so that the employee does not have to enter this information in manually. This application should also have the capabilities to properly code the expenses into our financial system. The desired outcome of this project would be to implement a 3rd party mobile app that satisfies all the requests from our users and that integrates with our GP financial system.
