Centre for Operations Excellence Industry Projects 2017

The Centre for Operations Excellence Industry Projects consists of six sub-projects sponsored by five different industry partners. Each sub-project represents an important challenge for its sponsor. These sub-projects include assessing the effects of traffic interventions at airports (Boeing 1), simulating demand for flight simulator training (Boeing 2), predicting return to work outcomes using unstructured data (WSBC), using process analysis to experiment with capacity during the check-in process (YVR), measuring throughput at a ferry terminal using process analysis and simulation (BC Ferries), forecasting future capacity at a Canada Post facility (Canada Post)
