CMCI Airport Heated Matting Product Marketing Study

CMCI is an indigenous-owned business that works closely with First Nation’s members and corporations. Through our industry association, we learned of the significant disadvantages of traditional gravel runways in Northern Canada and how it adversely impacts access to remote communities, SAR capabilities and artic security. In this project we will work on developing a new modular airport runway solution which will be more suitable for artic conditions. This product would be made from recyclables, extremely durable and much more cost effective and environmentally friendly, as opposed to conventional solutions. We need to conduct studies to determine industry requirements, regulations, demand, and costing. This innovative product can have significant market traction and would be a potential new source of revenue for our business. We have already garnered interests from the DND, the US Embassy, Boeing and Isokon.
