iGen Education Group opened in the Kerrisdale Community of Vancouver, British Columbia at the end of 2018. Previously, Sparks Academy offered high quality enhancement programs in STEAM learning for students aged 3 to 15. iGen Education Group has expanded to include three learning pathways and provides a range of choice when it comes to the places and spaces where children can engage in challenging STEAM learning, while emphasizing curiosity and creativity. Sparks offers a varieties of STEAM programs during the day for pre-schoolers, after-school programs for school aged children, various camps (i.e. summer, professional development days), and participation in local, provincial, as well as national competitions. Our various programs, such as the Compass Outdoor Education, offer STEAM learning outdoors activities to meet our students’ needs for physical development and purposeful engagement with our environment. iGen Education Group believes in a holistic development and engages students outdoors to inspire them and support them to explore interests and find their passion, aiming towards a full potential discovery. We try to creates critical thinkers, increase interdisciplinary competency, and enable the next generation of innovators.
