International sales potential model, C-130 aircraft, integrated service and support, market demand and need.

Cascade Aerospace has developed a competency around the C-130 transport aircraft through their relationship with the Canadian Air Force. They plan to market service support skills, modification competencies, and refurbished aircrafts to foreign militaries. Cascade doesn’t currently possess a working model to determin potential customers. By partnering with MITACS, Cascade will have access to resources normally reserved for academic endeavors and the skills of a student with graduate level work in strategic and defence matters, a Master’s in War Studies, and who is an MBA student. By utilizing up-to-date analysis of the political, social, economic, and defence needs of potential customers a working model to facilitate selection of nations will be created. These nations will be analyzed using a framework that applies selection criteria to assess the implications and feasability of a business relationship with them simplifying the complicated landscape in which Cascade must navigate.
