IP and Commercialization Framework for the University of Alberta

This work will support University of Alberta’s “IP and Commercialization Policy and Processes Review and Recommendations Committee”, responsible for creating a new IP and commercialization framework that supports innovation and entrepreneurship at the University of Alberta. The work of this Committee will be transformational for the U of A, and will define its innovation and commercialization philosophy and success going forward. The Committee consists of senior executive leadership from the U of A, and will involve a comprehensive consultation process to garner internal and external input required to shape the new framework. Innovate Edmonton will be involved in the consultation process. Further, this work, in collaboration with Innovate Edmonton, will also help shape the programming offered by Innovate Edmonton to the UofA.
