COVID-19 has reinforced the importance of Sanctuary’s technology for enabling
remote telework with crucial applications in care and food production as well as
many other industry verticals. As the technology platform centers around a
General Purpose Robot (GPR), the importance of understanding tasks through a
general lens allows for the appropriate prioritization of commercial deployments
and assists in defining the technology roadmap. A market research intern is
required to support our Chief Commercial Officer in the ongoing valuation of target
economic tasks.
In this role you will contribute to the research and analytical efforts of the
commercialization team in support of our growing database of labour statistics.
You will seek to understand the value of different work tasks. You will focus on
identifying and analysing existing information about relevant occupations
including time-motion studies. In addition, when no published resources are
available for a given occupation, you will perform primary research through
interviews and other methods to understand the task breakdown of that
occupation.
Responsibilities
– Perform secondary research on occupations particularly as it relates to time and
motion studies to quantify the value of work tasks.
– Performing primary research when necessary, including interviews
– Organize information, and update database with latest findings
– Report analysis in a database/format for consultation with other team members.
Qualifications
– Pursuing or completing a bachelor’s degree in economics, business or a related
field
– Excellent research and writing skills
– High level of organizational and planning skills
– Deadline driven and detail-oriented
– Comfortable interning remotely
– Experience in conducting research is preferred
