Occupant-Centric Low-Energy Design Solutions for High-Rise Social Apartments in Ho Chi Minh City

The Occupant-Centric Low-Energy Design Solutions for High-Rise Social Apartments in Ho Chi Minh City project seeks to improve energy efficiency in high-rise apartments by understanding and integrating the daily behaviors and preferences of residents. The objectives of the research include:
– Develop a set of criteria for evaluating energy efficiency that aligns with user behavior when proposing low-energy high-rise apartment construction plans.
– Provide recommendations for architectural solutions when designing high-rise apartments to consider human behavior, thereby reducing energy consumption during operation.
– Propose a theoretical model for suitable architectural solution groups that are compatible with user behavior in high-rise apartments in Ho Chi Minh City.
The project aims to address the following critical questions:
– Which user behavior group has the greatest impact on energy efficiency in high-rise apartments?
– How does behavioral change influence low-energy architectural solutions?
– Which combinations of architectural solutions and user behavior result in the highest energy efficiency?
