The Sustainable Livelihoods Approach to Recovering From The Effects of COVID 19: Developing a Post Pandemic Sustainable Tourism Strategy for Indigenous Women Entrepreneurs in Northern Canada.

This project will focus on creating a strategy for Indigenous women entrepreneurs in tourism in Canada’s North. It will focus on developing a skills based training strategy and related supports to reduce barriers to entrepreneurship for Indigenous women in tourism. The expected benefit is to overcome barriers and increase the benefits to entrepreneurial activity for Indigenous women in the North. This project is important to the Indigenous Tourism Association of Canada to support Indigenous women and create authentic tourism that benefits the community.
