Former Globalink Research Intern returns to Montreal for graduate degree

As a returning Globalink student, Pragyan was eligible to apply for the Mitacs Globalink Graduate Fellowship which provides financial support to former Globalink Research Interns who return to Canada for graduate studies at select Mitacs university partners.

Now more than half-way through his first semester at McGill, Pragyan is researching under the supervision of Dr. Tho Le-Ngoc in the Broadband Communications Research Laboratory. Here, along with two PhD students, he’s busy working on full-duplex communication technology. Pragyan’s experience at McGill, thus far, has been exactly what he had hoped for: “The opportunity to work independently, and in collaboration with my peers, to explore my thesis while having an ongoing, open dialogue with Professor Le-Ngoc is a dream come true. Completing my Master’s in Canada will give me the chance to follow my passions.”

Upon completion of his degree, Pragyan plans to begin his career in Montreal, a city he now considers his home.
