The manipulation of gene activity in microalgae (cyanobacteria) offers the possibility of producing energy and materials directly from sunlight, water, and carbon dioxide, contributing directly to more holistic modes of food production, innovative bioproducts and reliable bioenergy solutions that reduce human carbon emissions. Despite their recognized potential, it has proven challenging to develop scalable genetic […]

This research initiative focuses on the development of sustainable and eco-friendly methods for harnessing natural resources, particularly wood, to produce valuable chemical compounds with applications in materials, pharmaceuticals, and agriculture. Through a collaborative effort involving experts from Canada and Italy, we aim to pioneer chemical reactions that leverage visible light and wood-derived compounds as catalysts […]

Our study focuses on improving the design of sports bras for women with larger breasts, who often struggle to find bras that fit well. In this study, we want to understand how different sports bras affect how women feel and breathe during exercise. By studying this, we hope to improve sports bra design and make […]

The overarching objective of the project is to contribute to and improve several ongoing environmental activities including water quality monitoring, fish community monitoring, seal observations, tree planting, installing green infrastructure, and maintenance tasks. This will consist of both outside fieldwork and computer research, planning, reporting, and lab analysis of water samples.

This study will focus on determining how extended reality (XR) incorporating cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) principles can increase job-interview skills and anxiety management among adults with autism with mild symptoms. This study will also develop to simulation one using 360-3D and the second EON-XR utilizing low-cost equipment then will evaluate the feasibility and accessibility of […]
