Research and Development for Modeling the Perceived Value of Energy Consumers is a novel area of study which should help to better understand the energy consumers and the perceived value they place on different services and products. By identifying, understanding potential new products and services the related business models can be developed.

Quantifying Economic, Environmental and Social Sustainability Impacts of organizations and initiatives is challenging, particularly for the environmental and social legs. Enviro-Stewards recently introduced a shared savings based project approach in addition to its conventional (lump sum) based service approach.

This phase of the project continues on the research focus of developing intelligent control for machines using derived deep machine learning schemes. The learning algorithms to be developed will use high volume data from various processes in advanced manufacturing and other systems, combined with could based analytics, formulate complex and accurate process models of these processes. These models will then be integrated into advanced controllers that are self-optimizing and are continually updated via deep learning networks and continuous data streams machines.

Lately, predictive analytics as emerged as a vital area of study for both researchers and practitioners. This trend researches into large volumn of data for hidden patterns and relationships to gain data-driven insights and predict future outcomes. Predictive analytics can help the inside sales industry obtain optimum value from a large amount of data they have in their possession. In this research, we will leverage predictive analytics to help improve inside sales performance.

Traditional insurance models build on the assumption of independence of risks. One of the main causes of the recent financial crisis, this assumption has facilitated the quantification of risks for decades, but it has often lead to risks' under-estimation and as a result under-pricing. Importantly, one of the prime pillars of the novel concept of Enterprise Risk Management is the requirement that insurance companies have a clear understanding of risks' interconnections within the risk portfolios. However, modeling dependence is not an easy call.

Since the mid 1970s, medical personnel have used the Glasgow Coma Scale (GCS) as an important tool to rate and describe levels of consciousness. This scale is rudimentary and subjective, often resulting in misdiagnoses in cases where people lack the capacity to communicate. In some unfortunate situations, severe neurological damage can render people unable to move. Inevitably, these people are deemed vegetative when in actuality; many are simply ‘locked in’. For years researchers have used cognitive event related potentials (ERPs) with modified EEG to assess receptive language capacity.

This project aims at investigating productive uncertainty as a determinant factor in stimulating the exploration of innovation. Data will be collected through stakeholder interviews and observations of technological intelligence practices at Université de Bordeaux’s Via Inno lab. Via Inno engages with industrial partners to explore future development opportunities, which present an ideal case study to explore conditions of uncertainty.

"Lifeguard Health Networks Inc. (LHN) has developed a secure Virtual Health Assistant application (app), to enhance supported self-management for patients with chronic and complex conditions, by leveraging their network of trusted family and friends, under the direction and guidance of health practitioners.We are conducting a study to evaluate the feasibility of the app and the level of user engagement with this form of supported self-management. This is a non-randomized, interventional study having both objective and self-reported outcome measures.
