Business Development Coordinator

As a professional services provider, Virtus Groups was greatly impacted by the economic slowdown. Many of our current customers had to cease engagements with us and potential customers’ funding was all put on hold. Over the summer and fall of 2020 we had the excellent opportunity to have an intern from Sauder join our team. They made an immediate cost-efficient impact on our marketing and sales efforts. We added have been very impressed by the caliber of intern that comes out of Sauder and have found that they can make a great positive impact for our organization. While the economy is getting moving again, an intern will continue to provide us excellent capabilities that will enable our business to get back on track with our customers and future clients in an efficient manner.
The Virtus Groups intern will be a key member of our business development efforts for the duration of the internship. All these activities will help us approached and build relationships with a new set of target customers with a new business service offering. A capable intern will go a long way to beginning these initiatives.

TUEX Education is a mobile platform that connects tutors and students. Prior to the pandemic most of the tutoring sessions were held in-person. When the lockdown started in April, we immediately built an online portal for virtual learning. However, it has been a challenge to get students and parents on board with online
learning. Since all the in-person marketing campaigns have been cancelled or postponed due to COVID, our focus has shifted toward digital marketing. Although we have a strong presence on social media, we are struggling to attract new active users to the platform. With the addition of a new intern, we would be able to receive fresh ideas and implement new digital marketing campaigns to help with company growth and potentially expand to the East Coast.
