Date Changes
To request an update to your internship dates, please use the following form: Date Change Form

Before filling out the form:
– Ensure you have confirmed your start date/end date and/or any date changes with your professor.
– Your internship cannot be less than 10 weeks nor exceed 12 weeks in length.
– Internships cannot start later than July 31, 2024.
– You must provide 3 weeks’ notice for any changes. If you provide less than 3 weeks’ notice, there may be delays in processing changes to your health insurance and/or payment schedule.
– Special notice for China Scholarship Council (CSC) students: Internships cannot be less than 3 months in length.
– At this time, we are not allowing components of the internship to be carried out virtually for 2024.

Please allow 5-10 business days for processing. 

Withdrawals
In order to process your withdrawal, please:

1. Review the withdrawal policy here: 2024 Mitacs GRI Withdrawal Policy 
2. Receive written approval from (e.g. email) your host professor to ensure they are aware of your withdrawal and that you complete any outstanding tasks, if applicable.

Mitacs will not provide additional health insurance coverage outside of your internship dates.
