Who is eligible?

Mitacs Accelerate is open to Canadian citizens, permanent residents, and international applicants. Students and postdoctoral fellows at Mitacs partner colleges and academic institutions in Canada are eligible. Candidates must maintain their student status for the duration of the research internship. Postdoctoral fellows are eligible within five years of the completion of their first doctoral degree.

How does the funding work?
