Learn MoreThe objective of this project is to develop and test a first aid training program using Augmented Reality (AR), a technology that superimposes computer-generated animations on a user’s view of the real world, in the context of lifesaving education. Education is an industry that is currently being transformed using the latest technologies. In the advancing healthcare industry, the uses of such technologies as AR, medical animation, online learning, and simulation are quickly becoming the standard for delivering accessible, interactive, and high-quality training. PULSE Lifesaving Inc. is working in collaboration with applied research partners Mohawk College and McMaster University to develop a prototype first aid program using AR for deployment and product testing.
