Learn MoreThis project aims to assess the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on film festivals locally, nationally, and internationally. Though a partnership with the Toronto Queer Film Festival (TQFF), we will survey and interview festival organizers and their audiences in order to assess how film festivals are adapting their programming online and how audiences are engaging with this new programming. As a partner in this project, TQFF will benefit from gaining expert knowledge on film festival operations around the world that can be used to help it sustain and grow its operations throughout the pandemic.
