Learn MoreIn this project, mathematical models for estimating the behavior of electric appliances are derived using field measurements. These models are then used to estimate the amount of energy savings that can be achieved on each area, depending on the types of customers connected to each particular electric circuit. The outcomes of this project can be used in identifying the best locations in terms of achievable savings for implementing the energy conservation techniques within the BC Hydro system. Saving energy can benefit the environment and contribute in addressing the global warming issue.
