Alberta continues to raise it’s profile by attracting top international undergrad’s to settle in the province. 41 students are in our province to complete projects such as analysis of Alberta’s industrial carbon reduction strategy to the development of a brain to computer device for quadriplegic hospital patients. The projects are a part of the Mitacs Globalink program based in British Columbia.

Students from India, China, Brazil and Mexico are invited to complete research internships at 28 universities across the country, including here in Alberta.

According to numbers from the Canadian Bureau for International Education, our country ranks sixth for international student recruitment, generating approximately $291 million in government revenue.
