A Mitacs Accelerate postdoc is developing the robot this summer in collaboration with the Developmental Disabilities Association and JDQ Systems. Mitacs Accelerate is funded by the Government of British Columbia and the Government of Canada in the province of British Columbia.

A Mitacs Globalink intern is spending her summer at the University of Manitoba developing a basketball-playing robot. Mitacs Globalink is funded by the Government of Canada and Research Manitoba in the province of Manitoba.
