Interns are required to work 40 hours a week, five days a week for 12 consecutive weeks. Most interns work during regular business hours (e.g., 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.), but this depends on their specific arrangement with their host professor.
Students are expected to let their host professor know if they are missing time from their research for any reason, such as due to illness or to attend a Mitacs event.
