Globalink Research Award

The Globalink Research Award allows you to grow your potential, expand your innovation horizons, and explore exciting research opportunities abroad by undertaking 12- to 24-week collaborative research projects in any of Mitacs’s partner countries and eligible regions.

Mitacs Entrepreneur International

Entrepreneur International offers a travel grant to Canadian start-ups that are housed in an incubator or accelerator linked to a post-secondary institution, enabling them to connect with host incubators abroad to explore business-development opportunities in international markets.

Canadian Science Policy Fellowship

CSPF allows PhD holders to apply their expertise, earn a salary, and gain invaluable first-hand experience addressing public-policy challenges through an immersive 12-month placement in government host offices.

Business Strategy Internship

BSI allows talented post-secondary students and recent graduates to apply their expertise, and gain vital real-world experience, by helping businesses and not-for-profit organizations optimize their operations and achieve their innovation goals.

Accelerate International

Accelerate International allows students and postdoctoral fellows to apply their skills, and gain invaluable first-hand experience, through bilateral research collaborations with academic institutions and partner organizations in Canada and abroad.

Globalink Research Internship

The Globalink Research Internship allows international undergraduates from partner countries to undertake 12-week internships — in a variety of academic disciplines, from STEM to humanities and social sciences — in research projects hosted by a Canadian university.

Globalink Graduate Fellowship

The Globalink Graduate Fellowship drives international academic collaboration, and provides $15,000 in financial support to former Globalink interns applying to masters or PhD programs, or postdoctoral fellowships at an eligible Canadian university.

Accelerate Fellowship

Accelerate Fellowships give Master’s and PhD students in any discipline the opportunity to apply their skills, access funding and gain invaluable first-hand experience with industry leaders seeking exceptional research talent.

Accelerate Entrepreneur

Accelerate Entrepreneur is a flexible initiative that helps college, undergraduate, graduate students and postdoctoral entrepreneurs grow their startup, develop the research or technology at its core, and get to market faster.
